best movie ever

ok, maybe not the best ever… but it was pretty good. we all know what the best movie ever is…

mooving

been a bit busier than usual moving out of my house.

so if you, or anyone you know, is looking to rent my 2 bedroom 1 bath with separate 2 car garage (with attic)… hit me up for details.

visual crunch: blue scholars

fun friday: guest appearance

tonight at crocodile, Rocky Rivera will be in the building. and because of this, even my retired ass might come out for a second.

gully

say hello to the bad guy – SLS AMG. that’s the entire name. no mercedes, no mclaren, no nada. A-M-G from head to toe. and although it instantly brings fond memories of mercedes’ original gullwing 300SL, this is not a retro car by any means. this is simply a DTM beast for the street.

it does, however, share the same gullwing-style doors as the original… but that’s where the sharing stops.

it’s a mid-engine vehicle with a transaxle. the 6.3 liter engine connects to the transmission through a carbon fiber torque tube instead of a propeller shaft. this is underneath the rear of the vehicle.

a beastly motor is nothing without a transmission that can hold its own. this cut-away of the getrag built 7-speed semi-automatic transmission shows off the dual wet-clutch set up. some car nuts might think “why doesn’t it have a manual transmission?!” because this transmission shifts at 100 miliseconds… faster than you can shift, pal… amg.

introducing the most powerful naturally aspirated v8 engine. 563 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque powers this aluminum body vehicle to an electronically limited 197mph.

there’s a ton i can write about this car, but since you can find a ton of info on the net, i’ll spare you the car-geek talk.

the notorious P.O.P.

excuse me… i’m up late… but am i dreaming or did sony just give this dead guy $250 million for 10 albums over the next 7 years? well according to the wall street journal i’m not dreaming.

michael likes gullwings too. see you in hell, bud.
