merry christmas and a happy new year
i would just like to wish everyone and their families a merry christmas and a happy new year. i think this is the longest i’ve gone between postings. and it’s not that i’ve just become a lazy bum on the couch, it just signifies my shift in focus from one hobby (pleasure) to another (business). a part of me has always wanted to turn jonuts.com into something more than a random hobby blog… but a part of me didn’t have time, another part of me didn’t have the resources, a small part of me didn’t have enough passion to do it the way i wanted, and part of it was the domain name in general (hey, i started this as a personal site and it turned into a personality). i guess you could just say all the parts weren’t there. but that’s completely fine. i have lost nothing, and gained everything.
can you believe that next year will be 10 years since jonuts.com first started? and if we’re gonna go out, why not go out with a bang? so unfortunately, you will have to deal with me for another year… but i hope to make 2012 a year to remember and invite you all to join in on our shenanigans. that is, of course, if the end of the world is pushed back. – jonuts x com

anyone look outside on friday? along with the unique date came an unreal sunset. rain and heavy clouds dominated the day, until just before sunset where the black clouds gave a window for the sun. this called for something not even washingtonians have seen.
